Robert De Niro gets go-ahead from planners to develop boutique hotel in London
Robert De Niro, the Oscar-winning actor, has been granted planning permission for an 83-bedroom boutique hotel in Covent Garden, central London. Mr De Niro will be joint operator of the luxury Wellington hotel, which will be housed in six Victorian and early 20th-century buildings. The venture will be De Niro’s third foray into the hotel business.
