Should barristers wear wigs or should they not? Wigs are so much part of tradition that you would think that there is no question about it. However, it is causing controversy. Last week it was reported that a supreme court judge in Victoria, Australia, had expressed his “profound disappointment” that barristers had turned up in his court wearing wigs.
