I was called to the Bar in 1981 and spent the first 15 years at the criminal and family Bar in a mixed common law/crime practice. This included licensing, contract disputes, shareholder disputes, and tort.
I then went into private practice looking after two family offices from the middle east in London and Abu Dhabi.
In 2012 I started up a solicitor’s firm as an alternative business structure (abs) which was regulated by the solicitors regulation authority. It was the first tax orientated abs in the country, and at its height employed 8 solicitors and consultants. I was the Managing Partner and in effect practised as both a solicitor and a barrister.
The firm specialised in tax, VAT, litigation, company and shareholder disputes, and business law. Due to covid, Denning Legal went into liquidation in 2022.
I now practice in the field of tax, asset protection trusts, company law, children act cases, road traffic offences and serious crime.
About me
I am based in London and the South-East but will travel nation-wide.
